The Unreal World

I've tried my best to give a brief biography of each of our cast members. This page is actually quite outdated, but... I don't know if helps at all. Perhaps it's just a starting point for your journal reading.

Christy, 23

From reading Christy's first journal you find out a lot about her. Not only that she's a young and ambitious woman, but that she has her weaknesses, as well. She has a very strong personality and exterior, but is also fragile. She is ready to bust out on her own, but realizes she has her limitations (which are not necessarily self-imposed). Reading her journals over the next few months will be a learning experience for those of you who are still in college, and a reminder to others of the difficulties young people must face while trying to start their career.

Connor, 21

Flynn works for "a computer company." But there's much more to this cast member. From his early journals we can see he is struggling to find what may be the love of his life. He found her, but unfortunately she's engaged. His journals feature, sex, love, horror, and the mysteries of finding himself in a new city.

Greg, 24

I can't even being to explain this one. All I can say is that he reminds me of my friend Johnny (which helps you none). He's a rockstar of sorts, trying to find himself. Once a pre-med student, now he wants to be a broadway star? Did I read that right? Anyway, he's the to watch over the next few months--he's bound to break out someday.

Graeme, 38

The senior member of our cast, not in age necessarily, but in experience. He's been though it all before, the job, the family, the struggles, and the victories. He's an accomplished audio/video producer with a happy family. He travels a lot for work, which should provide us with some rather unique journal entries.

Joni, 22

Joni is in a major transition period in her life. Not only is she separating herself from her husband, but she is also moving about a thousand miles up the east coast to Pittsburgh. We're not quite sure what these next few months will bring, nor does she for that matter. We do know, however, that her story will be one to follow.

Kippy, 17

Kippy is the youngest of our cast members. His views on life are simple, and his visions unspoiled. He still lives in the nest, but has begun to experience the world. It will be a pleaure to watch this young man mature and develop, not only socially, but emotionally. He is free to share his thoughts, and willing to put in the extra effort.

Lindsey, 20

Lindsey was the first cast member chosen, the first to leave, and the first to come back. She's a little sporadic that way. We want to keep her anyway. She's a 20 year old college sophomore studying Journalism. Her travels have taken her around the United States, yet her world still consists of living near the nest (well, the basement of it actually).
