Uh oh.

A quick blast of fear is replaced by excitement as he shows me a new offer sheet for the producer position. He tells me to read over it, which I do.

Wait a minute, this salary figure is actually HIGHER than the amount we agreed upon 3 weeks ago. Not sure what to make of this, I tell him that I am happy with it, but he should look at it and make sure the amount is correct.

He laughs.

He IS offering me more than I asked for!!

HUH!?!?!?

Turns out he and his boss decided to see if they could get more than what I wanted, as, I think, a way of showing me how much they want me on board.

I could not find a pen fast enough.

So there you go friends, after almost two months of negotiating, worrying, and contemplating, I am now offcially a full time producer for the show. And at the best salary I have ever had in my working life.

To say I am thrilled is not doing justice. Laura kept telling me last night how proud she is of me. God I love her, she always has this way of making me feel good about myself.

We celebrated last night.

I got a new pair of shorts! LOL

Let me take this chance to say something. Now I am by no means converted or anything, but I gotta hand it to the boy wonder. He knew the fact that things had been drawn out for so long had me frustrated to no end, and he did something he did not have to do, to try and makes things better. Looks like there may be more to him than I thought.

Things are just going too good right now. I keep looking above my head, waiting for that anvil.....
