My brain is officially in over-load status.

Between work and home I have so much going on it's hard to keep everything straight right now.

I have the show load, as you know, and as of this morning I also have been handed yet another script to write for an informational video for a national client. The boy wonder left me a voice mail last night telling me that he needs to meet with me first thing this morning about it.

Just what I need, another project.

It's not that I have never been busy like this before, it's just that having a new position consume me so fast is a bit over-whelming. I knew going in that the load would be big, but I guess I was somehow hoping to ease into things. Oh well, all I can do is my best. Budget my time, forget about seeing my family, and get things done. :)

I keep reminding myself that this is what I wanted..LOL

Laura and I took another step towards getting our house ready to sell this past weekend. We painted our bedroom. Then we went out and ordered carpet. We got cheap stuff as we are only having it installed to help sell the house.

It's funny, we have been meaning to do all this painting and fixing up for the past couple of years, but have never gotten around to it, and now that we are gonna sell the house, we are doing everything and will not be around to enjoy it. But then again it will definately help get the price we need to buy Shauns house.

Speaking of Shaun's house, I saw in the paper yesterday where interest rates are at a two year high. In our area right now, a 30 year fixed loan is going for 7.87%. Just 4 months ago they were at 6.8%. That jump is gonna cost us, as an average, around 100 bucks a month in payment, which really sucks! If they go much higher I don't know if we are gonna be able to afford the house.

With so many things going on, I'm trying not to worry about it. I keep telling myself that, much like the new job that I worried about for months, things will work out. Let's hope so. Laura and I REALLY want that house.

I leave for Los Angeles a week from today. Begs and I have talked several times and I am looking forward to seeing him, and getting caught up. As I mentioned earlier, I'm gonna be taking plenty of pictures at all my shoots this year, and hopefully Mike can put some of them up.

Speaking of my shoots, I have 5 on the schedule so far. They will be in Los Angeles, Miami, Syracuse, Huntington, and Gainesville. More to come I am sure.

Well, looks like the todays race is about to start. I better get strapped in.

Later
