Each day I try to write I find myself doing something else instead.  It's not that I don't care, it's that I want something to write about...rather than just writing about what I'm writing (hummm?).

There is a movie I would like you all to see.  Some of my friends make fun of me for the movies I like to watch.  Honestly, I just love a good film...and sometimes that may mean I catch an art house picture every once in a while.  At any rate, I saw "The Castle" the other day and absolutley loved it.  The local metro paper gave it 5 out of 5 stars, declaring it this year's Full Monty.  It's about an Australian man that challanges an airport expansion project that is going to take his house away.  It's really really good.  It was just in limited showing where I live, but I expect it will be in wide release sometime soon.  Just think about Full Monty, Trainspotting, and Waking Ned Devine--it's along those lines.

Ok, now that I've given my movie pitch of the week, I'll get back to the regular drama of my life.

I had an interview this morning for a new job.  I went really well and I don't see why they wouldn't offer it to me.  It's a bit out of the way, but the salary would more than make up for it.  I really don't like interviews, to be honest.  It just seems so unfair.  The entire purpose is for you to give an abridged version of your career in less than an hour.  Most of the time the person has made up their minds before you even say a word.  I wish there was a better procedure for getting jobs. If anyone knows one, let me know.  Basically, the position is a Marketing Director for new projects and such.  Well within my skills.  I felt like telling them I would start this morning...because I've really done everything they were looking for.  There's really no way to say that in the interview without coming off as being too much into yourself.  But...that's the game.
