| I really like my new job. I've been
working over 10 hours a day since I started and I absolutely love it. I took me
about 7 months to find my 'dream job,' but it did eventually happen. I'm so glad I
was patient and I didn't take some of the lesser offers I had gotten (although the offers
were few and far between). Needless to say, this one is perfect. I was having a creative block this afternoon and decided it was vitally important for my job that I go out for a walk. Then again, on a beautiful 80 degree day, what else would you expect? You see, I have a pretty cool window I stare out all day long. Across the street is an Antique shop (which is actually just a house that has been converted into a store...I'm sure you've seen them before). So, I figured I'd take a look and see if they had anything cool. Hell, yeah! Cool place. I was feeling rather retro as it was, but walking into this place really sent me back in time. Get this, there were appliances that were made out of metal. Metal! You know, the naturally occuring elements in nature. I couldn't believe it. Way cool experience. The cashier, if that's what she was, seemed to live in the pace. There was a back room marked, "private." I imagine that's where she plops down to at night. You see...she wasn't very....how do I put it? Thin. She was not thin. Needless to say, there were some cool stuff in there. Helped to clear my mind a bit. Ok, that being the most exciting thing that happened in my day, I feel rather pathetic. 'Nuff about that. I discovered a really cool web site. Well, a few. The first is Nerve Mag and the second is Rsub. I think the first one might be a porno site, but I haven't been able to figure that out yet. It has some pretty cool photography collections (partially nude). Ok, most are completely nude. But there are some other little areas on the sit that rock. The second one, Rsub is a project by Razorfish. It's bad-ass. Check it out. Very cool. |
