July 5, 1999
| Let me start off with the word(s)
"HEATWAVE." I feel like I am living in hell. It is 95 in the middle of day and
it night it drops down to 85. That is too warm. I know, it is 100 in Arizona, etc., but
this is a different type of warmth. This is a HUMID warmth. Anyone that lives on the
eastern seaboard can tell you that our 95 with 100% humidity is hell compaired to a 95 in
Arizona. Not to mention, that our house isn't air conditioned. That doesn't help the
sleeping conditions any. When you wake up in the morning, you are pretty much lying in a
pool of your own sweat. It is nasty. You can go and take a shower for relief, but you are
starting to sweat as soon as you step out of the shower. The fourth of July was just another day for me. I had to work from 11-8, and after that, I just went to my neighbors house and sat around. HE HAS A/C!!! For the past 2 weekends, I have went to the movies with my best amigo. 2 weekends ago, I saw Big Daddy. I think that it was the funniest movie ever. If you like Adam Sandler in the Waterboy, he is 10x better in this, in my opinion. This Friday, I watched The General's Daughter. It was ok, but I didn't think that it was the best. I have seen alot of movies that I would have rated higher, but I stayed awake the whole time. I have told you about songs that I have thought were good in the past, so I guess that it is time again to tell you about more. Right now, there are 2. The first is Edwin McCain's "I could not ask for more" and the other one is by fastball. I forget it, but it is the one that they just released. They are both very very good. Well, this computer monitor is emmiting too much heat, so I am going to turn it off. I will write more later. |
